The Protein Revolution begins. 

At last, Stephen applies his outlook on life -- "do it better, not perfectly"-- to a new bakery life. Of his own making. December 1999, the time was right.   

Fitness had long been his business and high-quality baking was always his passion. Since he's all about balance, The Protein Bakery was... destiny. 

Fresh batches of protein-baked goods, 'cause everyone deserves a cookie. Why not make it a healthier one? The mission was to create something that tastes as satisfying as his grandmother's recipes but not undo all the work one does to stay in shape. 

He tested those first batches on both gym and foodie fiends. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie was the flavor that set everything in motion. He put his twist on a classic. Setting the bar high and keeping it there. 

Almost 20 years later, Stephen's just as passionate and obsessed with baking guiltless goodness.
