We chose the name Protein Bakery for a good (and healthy) reason—our unique muscle-building whey protein concentrate. It's richer, better-tasting and a huge component in all our baked goods. Protein makes you feel fuller faster and prevents spikes in blood sugar levels. It's a sure way to keep the heart beat steady and the body in balance.

Our recipes are all trans-fat free, gluten-free, and preservative-free, wheat flour-free, and fiber-rich. We combine natural ingredients like heart-healthy rolled oats, light brown sugar, and the finest chocolate. Then add in gourmet accents like swirls of rich peanut butter, toasted walnuts, sun-sweetened coconut, and tangy cranberries. We prepare small batches from scratch everyday in a certified KOF-K Kosher kitchen with the same attention to perfection we had when we opened in 1999.

STEPHEN CHARLES LINCOLN

Fitness is my business. Baking is my passion.

Before I committed to getting healthy, my life was out of balance. My weight was up, my spirits were down, and as a result, everything else—career, relationships, focus—were flat lining. Getting fit got me in touch with my body and taught me how balance impacts one's performance and outlook. Eighty-two pounds lighter in body and spirit, I moved to New York to pursue my goal of helping others do the same. Working as a fitness instructor and program director in the city's top gyms was the perfect canvas.

An important component of my gym life was having smart snacks to keep me on track. Finding none that provided nutrition and delicious taste, I created my own!

In 1999, I opened the Protein Bakery to provide the balance—among the many health benefits of whey protein concentrate is rich gourmet taste. The result? The best fresh-baked goods on the planet. We not only ship nationwide, but also to Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Norway, and the UK.
