No, we are not Gluten-Free. We grind the finest rolled oats into flour to make our products wheat free and higher in dietary fiber. However, we are baked in a facility that uses gluten in other products, so we are NOT certified gluten free.

First, you should know that Whey Protein is a dairy protein and comes from cow's milk. It does NOT come from animal flesh. We are a great product for vegetarians, not for vegans. Throughout the years, we have donated cookies and brownies to the City Harvest program in New York City. We have done this since our first month in business in 1999. The only exception to this was after September 11th. The founder of The Protein Bakery ran the hot food service on Monday's in St. Paul's Chapel at Ground Zero. Aside from overseeing the hot food served, he brought down hundreds of cookies and brownies for the people performing the search and rescue effort. The Protein Bakery has also donated product to fund-raisers for breast cancer, HIV, local children's schools and battered women shelters.
